Hi! 👋🏾 Welcome to my little corner of the internet 🌐.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science 💻 Department at Furman University 🏫.
I received my PhD 🎓 from Stony Brook University in New York 🗽 advised by Dr. Steven Skiena and Dr. Lilianne Mujica Parodi.
My primary interests lie in computer programming 🖥️, mathematics 🔢, and visualizations 🎨, especially in relation to temporal 📈, spatial 🌎, and network 🕸️ data. These interests frequently intersect in my research, which spans data science 📊, machine learning 🤖, computational neuroscience 🧠, and computational social science ⚖️.

Active Research Projects
Visualizing Dynamic Networks | I am currently working on extending Hierarchical Edge Bundling and Force-Directed edge bundling for dynamic graphs towards mechanistic interpretability of artificial neural networks as well as for improved diagnostics of time-varying biological functional connectivity networks. |
